This course is designed to give participants the opportunity to develop core English language skills with intensive immersion in dynamic, international classes. The course covers the four basic skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing but is especially programmed to improve communication skills. Course- books and supplementary materials are stimulating and up to date to reflect current culture and issues. We place great importance on oral communication in the classroom, allowing students to share ideas, participate in intercultural exchange and learn from their classmates. Participants will have ample opportunity to experience the cultural heritage of both Ireland and the local area. The programme includes a weekday afternoon guided immersion of Dublin city and a full-day tour to a site of scenic and heritage value on a Saturday or Sunday. We also offer numerous optional afternoon cultural and social activities.
