Discover London Course UK

About this course

Our Discover London programme, only available at our London Rose Bruford summer school, is the perfect way to spend a summer of learning and sightseeing,  ensuring that students get the most out of their stay in the Capital. They will have the chance to see all of the best sights that London has to offer, have lots of fun and take home plenty of unforgettable memories. This packed programme is made up of English classes and visits to London sights, museums, art galleries and shopping hotspots.

Every day, Emerald staff members will take students on cultural, educational and entertaining visits to see London’s most iconic sights including the spectacular Buckingham Palace, Nelson’s Column, the stunning Tower of London, and many more!

Students will also be able to visit some of the world’s most famous museums and galleries, such as the British Museum, the Science Museum, the Tate Modern and the National Gallery.

To top off their stay, all students will have the opportunity to attend a West End theatre show!

When not out exploring London, students can participate in a choice of sports, including, football, volleyball, touch rugby, swimming, basketball, badminton and rounders. Other activities can include dance, drama and a variety of arts and crafts.

Fun evening activities will enable all the students to come together and enjoy a range of lively events including talent and fashion shows, discos and karaoke, quizzes and scavenger hunts.

Once a week students will also visit exciting destinations outside London such as Brighton, Canterbury and Windsor.

As Rose Bruford is a celebrated drama college with famous ex-students such as Gary Oldman, our students can opt to participate in a drama option twice a week led by Rose Bruford staff.

This programme is perfect for students wishing to live and study in a beautiful part of one of the world’s most exciting and vibrant cities!
