I fell in love when I first entered the school at Palmerston Park. It is a lovely place with a magical atmosphere. After 4 months studying English and living in Dublin, I know for sure that I had made the right decision!
I went to Emerald to strengthen my English hoping it would be useful to find my first job. Now I have a real job as a consultant, and I know that my experience in Dublin at the ECI and my English level reached in those months have been very important to get my current position.
I've thoroughly enjoyed my experience working at Emerald over the last five years. One of the highlights for me has been mentoring students from all over the world. It has brought me closer to the students and they enjoy seeing a friendly, familiar face around the school, someone they know they can come and talk to anytime.
Preparing for the IELTS was one of the best choices I made when I first came to Ireland. The course allowed me to successfully enter both the work and academic environments, in a way that wouldn't have been possible otherwise. The teachers understood my challenges and helped me facing them. Studying in the Emerald premises also helped me socialise and challenge my English, going out of my cultural comfort zone.
As of today I’ve finished all of my C1 level courses. I can’t express to you how much Eugene’s teaching has helped
me out. My progress and journey of learning English has been a very positive one thanks to him. Not only do I appreciate my teacher’s efforts, but I feel so blessed that I’ve met wonderful friends at Emerald.
I have been supported a lot in many ways by my tutor since I started course in this school. Especially when I was struggling with the CV for my internship, he kindly gave a lot of practical advice. I can consult him whenever I am worried about something even if it is small thing.
I have been a teacher in Emerald since 2012. The first thing I noticed when I started here was how kind and welcoming the staff were, many go beyond their job in helping their students. Emerald is a school that is not afraid to innovate. We are persistently looking to improve the quality of our teaching, add to our courses, and better our services for students.

Located in the Royal Borough of Windsor, on the edge of Windsor Great Park and 25 miles west of London, Ascot is a pretty town which attracts many visitors each year to its famous racecourse.
