About this course

The Emerald Mini-Stay Programmes are offered between the months of September and June and are designed for groups of young learners and school groups with their teachers. Mini-Stay programmes at the Emerald Cultural Institute are often tailored to the specific needs of the group.

The Mini-Stay programmes encourage students to develop their language skills in a natural, everyday context. We offer two types of programme: our Standard Mini-Stay Programmes and our more specialised Mini-Stay Plus Programmes. Academic options available include:
  • English and examination preparation
  • English for the workplace
  • English and Irish culture and/or literature 

Mini-Stay Plus Programme options include:

  • English for the workplace plus agriculture
  • English for the workplace plus sustainable environment
  • English plus hospitality and tourism
