Together with Tutti Music, Emerald are delighted to offer an English Plus Music Programme which combines our general English language course with ensemble music training and orchestral instruction. This course is designed for students between the ages of 11 and 17 years and offers young people the opportunity to improve their English and music playing skills in a two-week programme. The music training and instruction is given by professional musicians, conductors and composers.
Tutti Music will provide 20 hours of ensemble music tuition over two weeks. These classes are taught exclusively through English, with professional music tutors in small groups of both Irish and international language students. At the end of the course, the students will join together for a musical performance.
Tutti Music aims to provide motivated young music students with a fun and relaxed way to enjoy and explore music-making with young players from other countries and other English speaking students.
Tutti Music provides orchestra workshops and master classes in conducting and performance to young musicians from all over the world. Their staff of professional musicians are experienced tutors and international performers specialising in running chamber groups with young people. A minimum level of B1 is required to attend this course.

Students must play orchestral instruments (for example, violin, cello, piano, flute, oboe).
A minimum language level is required (Intermediate B1).
Through our collaboration with Emerald we are delighted to welcome international students to participate in an orchestra workshop alongside Irish students. Our workshop allows students to explore different styles of music while mixing with players from different countries.
