Teaching at Emerald
The Emerald Cultural Institute is recruiting temporary teachers for our summer programmes based in Dublin. We have six summer centres in addition to our two year-round schools. Morning and afternoon teaching work available.
Some positions include a combination of teaching and work on the social and cultural programme. We need teachers available to start in late June or early July. .
All teachers need to have a degree (minimum level 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications and to hold a TEFL certificate issued by ACELS or approved by ACELS/QQI (e.g. CELT or CELTA) . Teaching in one of our summer centres offers you the opportunity to work in a well-established school and to develop your EFL teaching-skills in a supportive and well-resourced environment. The weekly syllabus and target learning outcomes provide a clear framework for teachers who are supported by the Director of Studies and assistants and attend an induction session prior to starting work.
