Founded in 1802, Ampleforth is one of the leading and most impressive boarding schools in the world.
Students attending a programme at Ampleforth College will stay in one of three on-campus boarding houses: St Bedes, St Cuthberts and St Edward-Wilfreds. These houses contain mainly single rooms with some twins and ensuite available. All boarding houses have large comfortable common and games rooms with large flat screen TVs and free Wifi access. These homely rooms give students an opportunity to relax, get together and make new friends during their free time. Entrance to the boarding houses is by secure key codes and each room has a lockable wardrobe space.
Minors under 18 travelling unaccompanied are assigned a specific member of staff who will be their reference point for the duration of their stay and who will meet them on a daily basis.
