Mini-Stay Programme

Dublin is the perfect city for a short stay. The city centre is contained, easy to navigate and yet with plenty of fascinating sites to explore. We can put together a programme of fun in-house activities, cultural excursions, and exciting day-trips. Depending on budgetary requirements, we can book a range of visits – both free and with an entrance fee – and arrange for transport passes or private coaches.

The Emerald Mini-Stay Programme is offered between the months of September and June and is designed to cater for groups of young learners and school groups, who participate in a tailor-made programme of lessons and activities.

The majority of our students stay in host families, allowing them to make the most of their short time in Ireland. Living with an Irish host family is an excellent opportunity for students to experience Ireland’s renowned hospitality and develop their  language skills in a natural, everyday context. Groups can choose general English classes or request a customised syllabus. Mini-stay programmes at the Emerald Cultural Institute are always tailored to  the specific needs of the group. Our expert teachers can deliver specialised classes in areas such as:

  • English for business and marketing
  • English for academic purposes
  • English for hospitality and tourism Irish culture, history and literature
  • Examination preparation (IELTS, Cambridge examinations, TIE, Trinity)
