Non Native Secondary School Teachers Course

A course to help Secondary School Teachers to develop their classroom skills and to prepare lessons effectively; designed within the Comenius framework

 The secondary school-teachers course is a modular course which focuses on current issues and methodology in EFL teaching. Learning theories and their applications are discussed. Modules include:

  • Learner Strategies
  • Classroom Management
  • Teaching the Four Skills
  • Teaching Beginners
  • Use of Authentic Materials
  • Drama in the Language Classroom
  • E-learning and Blended Learning
  • New Technology and Language Teaching
  • The Psychology of Learning 
 
Special options in Literature and Cultural Awareness are also available. The main focus is on practical ideas and materials development.

 

The Programme fee includes:

  • Tuition (60 minutes per lesson)
  • Supplementary course materials prepared by course tutors
  • City-centre orientation
